Meet Dr. Golriz Asefi

Dr. Asefi founded her Lafayette practice on a simple conviction: the best medicine happens when your physician has time for you. As a board-certified family physician, she cares for the whole person — from everyday health and prevention to metabolic wellness and the way you feel in your own skin.

By keeping her practice intentionally small and independent of insurance networks, Dr. Asefi offers what most medicine has lost: long, unhurried appointments, direct access to your own doctor, and care plans built around your life rather than a billing code.

Aesthetic treatments and all in-person visits take place at our medical office in Orinda, open Saturday, Sunday & Monday. On other days, Dr. Asefi sees established patients by telehealth.

We are a direct-pay practice. We don't contract with insurance companies — which means no networks, no claim denials, and no ten-minute appointments. Your fee goes to one thing: your care.

  • Time, guaranteed. Extended appointments that start on time, with the doctor — not a rotating cast of providers.
  • Direct access. Reach Dr. Asefi's office directly for questions, follow-ups, and same-week scheduling, in person or by telehealth.
  • Transparent pricing. A published fee schedule and a Good Faith Estimate before any scheduled service — no surprise bills, ever.
  • Your insurance still works elsewhere. Labs, imaging, prescriptions, and specialists are billed separately, and you're welcome to use your own coverage with them.
  • Medicare patients are seen under a private agreement, explained plainly before you enroll.

Complete your intake

We'll send your registration, history, and consent forms electronically — sign them from your phone in about ten minutes before your first visit.

Your first visit

An unhurried, comprehensive first appointment: your story, your history, a full evaluation, and a plan built together.

Enrollment is limited so every patient keeps real access to Dr. Asefi. Telehealth visits are available to established patients located in California.
